Pluses: sharp, f1.4 aperture, very wide, easy to focus even on night sky objects, tripod adapter on lens, focus lock, aperture ring.Minuses: large/bulky and heavy, costly.I very much like this lens for landscape night and astrophotography—and I’m not sure that any other lens does as well. Manual Focusing at night is very easy with this lens, and the focus lock is very helpful. Image quality is superb . If the cost and bulk are not deal breakers, this should be on your landscape astrophotography short list.
