The arm rests arrived a day ahead of the scheduled date and were well protected in the packing. They are longer than my old ones, and are slightly concave down the middle, which I find to be more comfortable than the originals. They look better than the originals did when they were new.The backing plate is steel and comes with high-quality mounting screws. An Allen wrench is required for tightening.During my long search for replacement arm rests, I couldn’t find a pair to fit my chair, so I bought these knowing that the screw spacing of 4 inches doesn’t match my armrest bracket. As planned, I drilled one new screw hole in the backing plate of each pad and they now fit neatly and securely, just as I expected. They look like they will last a long time.
