My 3 pitbulls always lay on the couch. It was cheap furniture we had for years so we never replaced it due to the dogs. I decided to go ahead and get a nice sectional that’s light colored and prayed this would work. I connected these together in spots using the ties in the box. I went to work today and when I came home, the dogs were not on the couch and they weren’t moved either. Tip, take your dogs paws and touch them with light pressure. That way the dogs know it won’t feel good to jump on. I did it 2x with each dog and they never jumped on the couch! I put them further back since the dogs can’t sit on the edge and that works best! I put the pillows on the edge of the plastic sheet to keep it in place. The stickers that come with it to hold it in place didn’t work for me, so I used carpet tape instead (due to fabric type). These are a little pricey but THEY WORK! Again, touch your dogs paws to the spikes (don’t press hard!) while it’s on the couch and it will work!1
