NOTCH SAFEBLOC PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USES Thanks to a collaboration between David Driver of X-Rigging and Sherriltree was born this friction tool for controlled rigging, the Notch SafeBloc. This triple-hole system can be installed at the top of the shaft, adding friction to the rappelling of material. It thus increases safety for both top and bottom operators. The choice of how many holes to use is purely at the expense of the culler, which decides how much friction to use. The Notch SafeBloc also helps the system placed at the base as a Port a Wrap or a felling plate. We recommend matching this system with a rope. Yale Yalex 16 mm.
